International collaboration in education and research is a priority for UTM, which has partnerships with universities in countries such as Belgium, Germany, France, Romania, the USA, and Sweden. Students benefit from internships in Europe and have the opportunity to enhance their foreign language skills.
The Technical University of Moldova has an extensive technical and material base, including 493 laboratories and computer-aided design classrooms with internet access. Students are accommodated in 11 dormitories equipped with medical centers, cafeterias, and other facilities.
Recognizing the importance of cultural, sports, and recreational activities, the university is committed to balancing intellectual work with physical activity and artistic engagement. To support this, UTM has developed a modern sports infrastructure for students and staff, featuring European-standard stadiums, tennis courts, and a multipurpose sports hall.
International Students League (ISL) was established within UTM in 2022 with the purpose to facilitate the integration of international students into university activities, to continuously follow up their issues and problems, monitor and provide solutions and promote the image of the university on an international scale. It also aims to involve international students more actively in various extracurricular activities.
